    The Organizing Committee for Sol-Gel 2005 has secured on campus housing accommodations for this conference.  Sol-Gel 2005 is providing this encrypted, secure user-friendly website for all Housing Reservations.

    Breakfast and Lunch are included in the room/board package rate, beginning with Breakfast on the morning following check-in, and ending with Lunch on day of departure. Also included in the room/board rate are recreation privileges at both the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center and the famous John Wood Athletic Center, both of which are on campus.

    August 14, 2005:

    Deadline to guarantee Housing rates. After this date, the room rate cannot be guaranteed, and will be offered on a space available basis only

    Sunset Village :
    Sunset Village can accommodate as many as 1,200 guests in three low-rise, courtyard buildings. The non-smoking, double-occupancy, air-conditioned rooms have two twin beds, a private bathroom, cable TV, an in-room telephone, and include daily maid service. Each room is equipped with two twin-size beds. Occupancy cannot exceed two (2) persons per room.

    Residence Halls:
    A small number of Residence Hall rooms have been reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis for students or those seeking more budget-minded accommodations. Rooms are not air-conditioned.

    Each non-smoking room features two twin beds and an in-room telephone, and occupants on each wing share a community bathroom. There is no daily maid service in the Residence Halls (they are cleaned at check-in and checkout). There are no televisions. However, the rooms are equipped with high speed Internet connectivity.

    Payment Information:
    All payments will be processed in U.S. dollars and are subject to the current exchange rates. Housing Reservations will not be processed without payment. 

    Housing Reservation Confirmations:
    Attendees will receive a confirmation notice immediately on-line, regarding their conference registration or their housing reservations. If for any reason you do not receive confirmation, please email Kay Boles, CMP, at call UCLA Conference Services.

    Cancellation/Refund Policy:
    No refunds will be given for early departure or late arrivals. Before August 8, 2005 refunds will be issued for the amount paid less the cost of a one night stay. After August 8, 2005 no refunds will be issued.

    Insurance Information:
    Neither the local organizer nor UCLA can accept responsibility for accidents that could occur. Attendees are encouraged to obtain travel insurance (medical, personal accident, and luggage) in their home country prior to departure.

    Special Needs:
    Sol-Gel 2005 will be happy to assist you with any special needs (i.e. physical, dietary). Please complete this section on the registration form. Regarding special assistance, please fax to Sol-Gel and explain the special assistance needed.

    Parking Information:
    Parking is $ per day for a 24-hour period . This means that a parking permit will be required on the day of check-out. Parking can be purchased at the front desk upon arrival.
